Life-Saving Freedom

“Remember when you held my hand like you’d never let it go?
Remember when we talked of where we’d be a year from now?
Remember, because that’s all you can do.”

Sometimes, we busy ourselves with projects, with designs, with useless matters, just to keep our mind off of the person we miss and love the most.
But then at the end of the day, when the busy day starts to fade, the memories hit us, and we get slapped in the face by the fact that we haven’t moved on, we haven’t let go.

We’re still holding on to that little hope.
Even though we’re trying our best not to.
