Life-Saving Freedom

You guys keep my hopes up;
You guys live it to the fullest.
We pick up right where we ended,
as if no time has passed.

You are the ones that matter in my life.
None of those other people who make life difficult,
none of those drama shits.
You are my support.

I can be myself around you guys;
no masks, no different attitudes, no stupid “I’m gonna try to be nice just so everyone will be happy”.
You take me as I am.
My shortcomings;
my rants;
my craziness;
my depressions;
my whole me.
& I’ve missed being the KC that you all knew.
In the past years,
I’ve lost myself because I thought
I had to change who I was
to fit in to that ridiculous life.
